Soapdom is delighted to announce that Elizabeth Hasselback (The View) and Cameron Mathison (All My Children, Dancing With The Stars, and I Wanna Be a Soap Star) will serve as chairperson and host of Love Our Children USA's Fifth Annual National Love Our Children Day. Addtional stars, Rebecca Budig (Greenlee, All My Children), Meredith Viera, Ashleigh Banfield, the new Menudo and more will likewise lend their support to Love Our Children USA’s mission to keep children safe and strengthen families.
The event, which will take place at SpotLight Live in NYC on Saturday, April 5, is a "Celebration of Children" and attracts over 300 of the Tri-State's most influential families. The day is celebrated annually to honor children, strengthen families and raise awareness for efforts to keep children safe.
This special day will feature Interactive Comedy Improv for Kids and Parents by Comedian Walt Frasier; a kids fashion show by Kea + Joby; Kids; parents and celebrities appear In The Spotlight and sing onstage together accompanied by professional backup singers and dancers and appear on the Jumbotron in Times Square; painting with celebrities, and much more!!

Love Our Children USA is the national nonprofit leader that honors, respects and protects children. Celebrating its 9th year as 'the Go-To' prevention organization for all forms of violence and neglect against children in the U.S., its mission is to break the cycle of violence against children.

Plus, in honor of Love our Children Day, Love our Children USA closes the bell at NASDAQ on April 1st with Melania Trump ringing the bell and celebrity guests Cameron Mathison (Ryan, All My Children) and Rebecca Budig (Greenlee, All My Children) on hand with others from the entertainment and business sectors will standing along side of Mrs. Trump as she rings the closing the bell and kicks off the organization’s Fifth Annual National Love Our Children Day.
Each year Mayor Michael Bloomberg proclaims the first Saturday of every April as Love Our Children Day and said “All of our children deserve the love, encouragement, and respect they need to reach their full potential – today and every day of the year,” and commended Love Our Children USA for its vital work in making an incredible difference in so many young people’s lives.
