Cady McClain (Dixie, All My Children)The Propsect Park online reboot of All My Children is in the process of signing Cady McClain (Dixie, All My Children) to the soap opera.  McClain made the announcement saying that although all the "i's" have not been dotted, nor all the "t's" crossed, she deal is well under way.

"I feel confident in telling you that I will be a part of the AMC Intenet Re-boot," she posted to her blog.  She continues...

"I am very excited about the possibilities for the show in this medium and want to give it a every chance at success."

McClain goes on to say that it's well known that she has always been fascinated with the possibilities for creative expression that the internet offers, and she couldn't be more delighted for the new opportunities to connect with fans that this online platform will provide.

She is likewise happy for Ginger Smith who will be executive producing the soap.

Soapdom congratulates McClain on coming aboard the new version of All My Children and could not agree more with her anticipation of only good things to come for the soap opera.

As the World Turns fans know McClain as the Daytime Emmy winning Rosanna Cabot.  AMC fans remember McClain for her role as Dixie Cooney Martin, part of one of All My Children's famous super couples, Tad and Dixie.  Tad, played since 1983 by the affable and debinair Michael E. Knight ,is also a fan favorite.  Will he join the new venture as well?  Stay tuned.

See McClain's Blog post.
