Daytime Dilemma Returns as 1-Minute Interstitial Games to Test Fans on How Well They Know the Characters!
ABC Daytime will give soap fans the opportunity to predict their favorite character's actions when "Daytime Dilemma" returns to the network with its first one-week campaign on September 22. Pivotal scenes from "All My Children" will be the subject of the one-minute interstitial guessing game, which last aired on the ABC Television Network in 1982. Daytime Dilemma will be sponsored by Schick's Intuition razor.
During "All My Children" and again in "General Hospital," spots will air depicting key scenes from that day's episode of "All My Children," inviting the viewer to predict what the featured character will do or say next. Designed to get fans talking about what they think is going to happen on tomorrow's episode, the campaign will be supported by ABC.com, where fans can go to chat and vote.
"We decided to bring back Daytime Dilemma as part of our continuing commitment to enhance the viewing experience for our fans and involve them on a more personal level with their favorite shows," said Brian Frons, president, ABC Daytime. "This year we have invited fans to create fantasy episodes and even cast a character on 'All My Children.' Our fans' involvement with the shows is very important to us."
