Daytime Emmy 2004 Do's and Don'ts

From gorgeous glam to why did ya even leave the house?

What Were Some Stars Thinking?

Before we get into this, we'd just like to say that we think all soap opera actors are stunningly gorgeous.  Most of the time they are knock-em-down, drop dead fantastic looking. Every once in a while, however, some of them, who look fantabalous most of the time, make poor choices when getting decked out for formal affairs.

At the 30th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards held at Radio City Music Hall in NYC on May 16, 2003, most everyone looked stupendous -- with a few exceptions.  Here's Soapdom's take on the do's and don'ts of daytime dress at the Daytime Emmys.  With prom time round the corner, you might want to check this out!

Susan Lucci (Erica, AMC)
Always stunning.

Rebecca Budig (Greenlee, AMC)
Classically pretty in pink.

Alicia Minshew (Kendall, AMC)
Updated Audrey Hepburn

Robin Strasser (Dorian, OLTL)
Chic gathered taffata.

Rebecca Herbst (Elizabeth, GH)
Beautiful color with her coloring.

Jennifer Finnigan (Bridget, B&B)
Soft, femine, approachable.

What Where They Thinking?

Kelly Monaco (Livvie/Tess, PC)
How stuffed in can you get?
Wins the boobie prize.

Erin Hershey Presley (Alison, PC)
What's going on up there?
Is this where ZuZu's petals ended up?

Bree Williamson (Jessica, OLTL)
Has flower power returned?
We must have missed it.
This has got to be the ugliest dress in the entire world.
Maybe without that sash?  Nah. Still ugly.

Eva LaRue (Maria/Maureen, AMC)
Has the flapper era returned?
The hoola hoop?  The twist?
This one is far from our favorite frock, but
it did make runner up for the boobie prize.
