Episode # 15,726----Phillip tells Lillian he wants to straighten things out with Alan. He tells her about Alan's draft story, but she still isn't convinced that Alan has a heart. Alan asks Alex if he can count on her board meeting vote. He says he needs to keep James away from Daisy and involve him in Spaulding Enterprises. James comes to chat with Daisy and Josh, calling James Daisy's boyfriend, says Daisy should visit Reva soon. Daisy denies James is her boyfriend. Lillian and Ed discuss helping Phillip. Alan tells James the family must publically look united. Alex gives Phillip the cancelled check so he can go in search of the Pierces. Phillip tells Alan he has some things to take care of

before he can attend a board meeting. Alan approaches Vanessa to get her vote at the board meeting. Phillip has a check-up with Ed-who tells him there is a new procedure that could save his life. Phillip realizes he has a choice to make. Alex comes to Cyrus in jail to get his vote for the board meeting.

Marina asks Mallet if he's going to treat her like a wife or like a suspect. Buzz realizes something is up between the two of them. He tells the couple they're acting strange and wants to know what's wrong. Marina and Mallet know they're trying to hard too act normal. Marina tells Mallet she wants to partner up to solve the John Doe murder so they can reclaim their normal life.

Dinah tells a photo of Henry that she killed the mean man to protect him. Shayne has left a trail of clues for Dinah that lead to him. They make love. Shayne tells Dinah they should share their engagement with their families, so the couple head to tell Vanessa they're engaged. They tell Josh too and then look for Remy. Shayne tells Marina he's getting married and that trust is the most important part of a relationship. Dinah surprises Mallet with her good news. A happy Dinah and Shayne share that they've told their exes about the engagement.
