Emily is unsettled when she finds Sonny digging in his garden in the middle of the night. What’s really odd is that he’s dressed in a suit. Sonny admits that the landscape architect planned the wrong design and he has to do what he can do to make it right. Emily convinces him that he can do it in the morning.

Speaking of Sonny, Alexis confronts him about the death threat he made against her. He goes into damage control mode with Emily as he tries to ease her fears. But what’s interesting is that Sonny becomes frightened by his own behavior.

Shortly thereafter, Alexis and Sam begin to bond as family. Turns out they both enjoy chamomile tea. Who knew? Ric and Sam agree to try and get along.

While on the other side of Port Charles, Elizabeth urges Jason to let Sam back into his life. Sam calls out to Jason as he’s about to leave after dropping off her things with Alexis.

In the meantime, Diego admits to Lulu that Luke staged the robbery on the Haunted Star. Lulu takes the money from Diego and plans on making Luke pay.

Later, Robin jumps to Mac’s defense when Robert criticizes the police department. She even gets in a major dig at Robert, when she says that Mac proved to be a wonderful father figure. Speaking of Robin, she’s in the mood to flirt and she pulls Patrick into a supply closet at General Hospital after he finishes surgery.

While in more serious matters, Jax resolves to come clean to Nikolas and tell him the truth about baby John. But low and behold, just as Jax is about to spill the beans, Helena arrives and takes the wind out of Jax’s sails.

At the same time, Justus and Lainey grow closer as they take some much needed relaxation and try their luck at a casino. It’s not long before he admits to her that he likes working for Jason and Sonny.

50 Years of Days of our Lives ~ 50 Years of an iconic theme…

When Bobby Hart and his songwriting partner, Tommy Boyce, were commissioned to write the theme song for a brand new soap opera over 50 years ago, they had no idea whatsoever that it would still be running on air, five days a week, twice a day for 50 years.

"I am blessed," Hart revealed to Soapdom, being grateful for its longevity and Days' Executive Producer, Ken Corday, keeping the Boyce & Hart theme song airing all these years.

You may not recognize the name of the songwriting team of Boyce & Hart, but odds are, if you or your parents were around in the mid to late 1960s, you are more than familiar with their music.
