{mosimage}Ric gives into Trevor’s blackmail in order to protect Marianna and signs over the deed to the waterfront property. Ric warns Sonny about what he did but Sonny doesn’t believe that Ric wasn’t acting out of revenge.

At the same time, Trevor lets Johnny know that he now has the leverage he needs against Claudia and cautions Johnny that Claudia has her own agenda. Claudia makes it clear to Jason that she wants Trevor removed from the picture permanently and suggests it would be the fastest way to keep peace between the two families.

Speaking of Claudia, Robin yet again faces Claudia’s narrow minded views about HIV. Shortly thereafter, Robin is amused when she watches an awkward Patrick trying to take care of a baby.

While on the other side of Port Charles, Lucky surprises Sam when he says he doesn’t want to end things with her. Elizabeth later accuses Sam of not being good enough for Lucky. Elizabeth reminds Jason why they can’t tell anyone else the truth about Jake’s paternity.

The day winds down as a regretful Monica realizes how far she’s slipped. Monica tells Jason she loves him and that he will always be her son.

Days of our Lives' Brendan Michael Coughlin enjoys playing Tad and being a new dad

When asked what it is like to play Tad on Days of our Lives, Brendan Michael Coughlin shouts exuberantly, "I love him!"

Coughlin has been playing the so-called behind the scenes instigator for the last two years. He has no family that is ever mentioned on the show, but he is there. He came on as Will's (Guy Wilson) best friend, but when it became clear that Will was gay, Tad did everything but bash and degrade and mock him. The irony? At the recent wedding of Will and Sonny (Freddie Smith), he was best man. Go figure!

"I know. It has been a wild ride. I did a whole turn around, and I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed doing the wedding. I really enjoy playing this guy. He is a total goof-off. He means well, but is always on the wrong side of the rope." Coughlin said. "I have grown to love him. He is comic relief. I always had dramatic roles, so this is fun."
