{mosimage}A miserable Sonny tries to convince himself that Kate’s leaving is for the best but he clearly feels otherwise. Even a visit to Carly and the boys can’t shake Sonny’s melancholy mood. Later, Carly is hit by a mild case of the flu but is grateful to have her family with her. Meanwhile, Kate is equally lonely and miserable as she ends up spending the holiday alone in her hotel room in Manhattan. Jason longs for the family he can never have as he spies on Elizabeth and her boys through the window.

While over at General Hospital, Tracy is plagued by Alan after she rudely kicks Skye out of Luke’s hospital room. Lulu, Lucky and Bobbie join Tracy as they sit vigil when Luke is taken off for his bypass surgery. While on the operating table, Luke envisions his idea of Heaven.  He performs "My Way" in a netherworld setting and also sings "I'll Be Home for Christmas" over a montage.

In some family squabbles, Maxie won’t apologize to Felicia, who tells her daughter she’ll always love her. Mac invites Felicia to stay for Christmas. The day winds down as an emotional Maxie gives Felicia a gift from Georgie.

Days of our Lives Melissa Archer says Serena is sort of interested in herself

A veteran of daytime television Melissa Archer, who now plays Serena Mason on Days of our Lives, said that playing the role is just another day and it's just going to work.

Archer played Natalie Buchanan on One Life To Live for ten years until the show was cancelled in 2011.  She then switched to the now defunct online version.

"I look at this job as going to work," Archer said. "I love what I do. Serena is so much fun, and she has a lot going for her. She does many things and is sort of interested in herself."
