Kin Shriner (Scott, General Hospital)Carly tries to push Sonny’s buttons by pulling Jax into a kiss. Sonny keeps his cool as he makes plans for his and Carly’s dinner date. Jax warns Carly not to use him to play games with Sonny. Sonny takes Carly to Jake’s, where he collects on his bet of a dance after beating her at pool. After getting Max to reveal that Sonny took Carly to Jake’s, Jax arrives there with Amelia to see the estranged couple about to kiss.

At the same time, Jason tries to explain to Lulu why he and Elizabeth reached the decision they did about the baby and believes he’s convinced her to hold her tongue. Lulu heads to see Lucky, who is caught off guard by her questions. Then, it turns out that Jason has a job for Spinelli.

On the other side of town, Mr. Craig injects Nikolas with a poison for which an antidote must be administered every twenty-four hours. Mr. Craig demands that Nikolas set him up with a new identity or die.

In the meantime, insisting that he’s thinking of Lulu’s wellbeing, Scott tells Lucky and Elizabeth they need to tell Lulu what really happened between Luke and Laura when they were young. Then, the day winds down as Alcazar continues to hide his recovery from Skye. Instead of filling Skye in, he continues to make secret and cryptic plans. Finally, Maxie, Coop and Logan put their blackmailing of Scott in motion as Sam’s past seems to be catching up to her.

Soapers ~ a movement, a philosophy, a new book

When ABC announced the cancellation of long time fan favorite soap operas All My Children and One Life to Live in the spring of 2011, all havoc broke loose. Passionate fans took to the internet, boycotted ABC's advertisers, called for the firing of then ABC Daytime head, Brian Frons (who spearheaded the cancellations), picketed the studio, did anything and everything they possibly could to let the network know just how unhappy they were with the network's decision to dump their continuing stories for the more cost efficient lifestyle and talk shows that were to replace the soaps.

One such loyal fan, Flo DiBona, has chronicled the events of this tumultuous time in her new book, Soapers.
