General Hospital fans have banded together to mount the "Save the Quartermaine" campaign. Fearing that the much beloved Port Charles family is on the brink of extinction after four decades on the soap, fans have created a website to help you join the campaign effort and let the powers that be at GH know not to take the fan fave family out.
Savethequartermaines.com comes complete with banners, a contest, a 16,000 word history of the family, message boards and more.

... GH has great talent available and creative writers. However, GH needs to get back to the Quartermaine story of why Alan is haunting Tracy and bring out the Jake story line already. I have never seen so much angst in one soap relationship with so little romance as I have seen with Jason and Elizabeth. Most romances get a pretty good run before they get broken apart. If Liason Fans have to take much more they will leave especially since the story has been started and stopped over a nine year period. Jason has finally put Carly in her place and at arm's length only to have Claudia start to move in and the fact that Claudia is the original Carly is just way too familiar and annoying. I have been in favor or the Liz and Jason union since 1999 and have endured the diversions but have just tuned out. So Enough already! Use the summer to bring out the johnny/Lulu/Maxie triangle...but do not tarnish Liason and let it finally develop. To put it in perspective...By the time Susan Lucie received a much deserved Emmy...it looked like a consolation prize. Jason and Spinelli are a great odd couple but Spinelli needs to be reined in by the new mob boss in town and controlled a little better. Spinelli was a great creation. That's why GH has the most loyal fan base SOOOOOO I hope they get it together. Bring out Liason and develop the Quartermaine heir issues to the table. |
