I just wanted to say that I think they struck gold with Drew Garrett. He's amazing! I'm usually skeptical with recasts and aging of characters but this guy is soooo great.

I have to agree with you Laurie. He is great in the role. It was about time they aged Michael. Now there is a wealth of new story to tell with Michael as a young man. I am also enjoying Christina. She has likewise aged nicely.

I did a little research on Drew. He's only 19 or 20 and did one epi of Criminal Minds before he got GH. He's pretty brilliant and I really like his interaction with Steve Burton. And the aged Kristina is impressive too.

Days of our Lives Melissa Archer says Serena is sort of interested in herself

A veteran of daytime television Melissa Archer, who now plays Serena Mason on Days of our Lives, said that playing the role is just another day and it's just going to work.

Archer played Natalie Buchanan on One Life To Live for ten years until the show was cancelled in 2011.  She then switched to the now defunct online version.

"I look at this job as going to work," Archer said. "I love what I do. Serena is so much fun, and she has a lot going for her. She does many things and is sort of interested in herself."
