First off, I hope I was the only one who punished myself by watching Logan's death again on Labor Day.
Man is Karpov mad at Jax!! Pretty soon it has to be Jerry to the rescue. I can't see any other way out of this mess but one that ends with Jerry killing Karpov to save his family.
Speaking of Jerry - I was pleasantly surprised to see him again this week. Never mind that he was lurking while Matt and Maxie discussed the drugs. As usual, Jerry looked smashing but I like it better when they let him speak. To be fair he did have a little conversation with the crazy Russian. Now I KNOW Jerry will get between Jax and Karpov. Karpov started to tell Jerry about the "jealous husband" then the subject changed to Matt. Tell me this - does Karpov not know that Jax and Jerry are brothers? He knows both of their last names so I don't get it.
I have to agree with Liz "why can't we just grab what little happiness we can?" Yes Jason, why can't you? Life is too short - grab yourself some happiness already.
Forgive me because I think Genie Francis is fabulous BUT - I had a hard time swallowing that even she can talk Lulu into making Logan's ghost disappear. Good news though - Tuesday was dead Logan's last day on screen. Ghost Alan I enjoy, ghost Logan, not so much. Let the man rest in peace, please.
Lulu is miraculously cured thanks to Laura. I still don’t follow – Laura was sitting outside in the courtyard. Why haven’t they alerted Nikolas that she’s awake? Isn’t he in charge, legally of his mother’s care? Someone please tell me how Laura is walking around Shady Brook and Nikolas doesn't even know she's awake? By law, don't they have to update him on her condition? And why didn't Tracy notice Laura talking with Lulu when she approached as Laura walked away. Is Lulu really over the edge and imagining Laura's awakening?
Weee Oooooo! Clarice dropped the limo sex bomb. Everything should hit the fan this week. It struck me as odd that Clarice absorbed so many details on the situation. Why did she lurk and listen in the first place? Shouldn’t she have used the front door instead of wandering around on Sonny’s property? Clarice annoys me to no end. I love the way Cody seemed to agree with me. My opinion is changing of tall, dark, and Cody. But Clarice needs to go out for Kate’s coffee and never come back. Either that or she needs to hook up with Cody so she can have something to smile about.
Sonny and Kate - I feel sorry for her because she has no idea, absolutely no idea what she's in for with this man. Here’s my question – why is Kate even considering going through with the wedding? Is it because she really loves Sonny or because she wants to save her public reputation?
Diane pretty much read Sonny the riot act. He actually had the nerve to utter the words, “when I’m married, I’m faithful.” What? As Diane said, what about Alexis and Sam? Wasn’t Sonny married when he fooled around with them? Sonny should really get back with Alexis. Both of them live in their own hypocritical world. They each like to spin things their own way and criticize everyone else.
So one day Jax is hedging and the next day he's living with Carly? And he's building them a new mansion? He's so wishy-washy. How is it possible that he and Jerry share the same parents?
Can Alexis just stay out of Jax’s marriage and fix her own mess of a life?
Steve Burton’s Jason is so good at "reacting" - it shows all over his face when someone annoys or amuses him - Maxie was making him dizzy with all her fast-talking. I love the Maxie, Jason, and Spinelli interactions. Speaking of Jason - the way he rolls his eyes when Carly talks makes me wonder if he even likes her. Poor Jason is so lonely and unfulfilled. You can't help but feel for this guy. And how cute was it when he brought Spinelli the soup?
Mac handled finding Maxie at the penthouse in a towel surprisingly well. Spinelli kept ringing the bell, which was hilarious and Jason just sat and watched the train wreck in silence. I believed Mac when he told Spinelli, “that bell is gonna find a new home in your colon,” if anything happens to Maxie.
Tracy is back and that's a good thing. Alan is back too. I apologize but I love Alan better as a ghost. Though Alan was always great with the sarcasm when he was alive.
Patrick's taped "testimonial" from Coleman – Oh how I love Coleman. Does anyone else like him? He's so sleazy and sexy all at the same time. Someone else please admit you like Coleman.
I am not feeling my usual love for Scotty. This whole "Logan was a cop" lie is so low. And how would Scott, the father of the victim, be able to prosecute the accused killer in the real world?
I’m enjoying Edward and Epiphany on the jury. I especially loved it when Edward spoke out of turn during the trial.
