Alexis stands by Julian

Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis, GH)It just amazes me how an intelligent woman like Alexis can be taken in by Julian. Alexis just blindly believes everything and anything Julian tells her. And it’s pretty sad that Alexis chose Julian over Molly. Knowing what she knows about the type of crime Julian has in his background, I would expect Alexis to be at least a bit suspicious. But it’s as if she’s a love-sick kid or something.

I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, given Alexis’ history with men. There was Sonny, Ric, Jerry, and Shawn. All of those men were criminals in one way or another. Now Alexis is with Julian. Doesn’t Alexis have to stay above the law, given that she’s an attorney? How exactly does that work?

The really sad part of the story is that poor Ric was set up. And now Molly and Elizabeth have lost Ric – even if it’s just temporary. Ric won’t be able to clear his name until the real crime boss is revealed. Any guesses as to who that is?

I like Levi less each time he opens his mouth. We all know it was Levi who told the judge Maxie lied about her court date. Clearly Levi has an agenda – I just haven’t figured him out yet. And we all see the sparks between Maxie and Nathan. All I can say is – finally! And hurry up already! Get rid of Levi so Maxie and Nathan can become a couple.

I’m glad Sam is suspicious of Nina. The woman is crazy – that’s for sure. Nina makes Heather look sane. I really think Nina has a revenge plan in that wacky mind of hers. She clearly has an agenda. And judging by the flashback of Nina trashing her husband’s apartment, the woman has a temper. And a violent streak. Anyone who gets in Nina’s way is in for it. I totally believe that Nina is capable of anything.

I just knew Nina wasn’t as fragile as everyone believes she is. Did you catch those high heeled boots she was sporting when she broke into Sylas’ apartment? Tell me how a supposed wheelchair bound woman could walk in such impractical shoes.

What I can’t figure out is who Nina wants to execute her revenge on. I think it’s Sylas. I really think Nina blames Sylas – after all, he cheated on her with Ava all those years ago. Then when poor Nina was comatose, Sylas went and fell in love with Sam. It seems to me that Nina has been in the know about Sylas and Sam for quite a while. So she’s had lots of time to make her plan. All I know is I wouldn’t turn my back on Nina. I sure hope Sylas wises up before it’s too late.

In actor news, we’ve seen the last of Rick Hearst (Ric) for now. With the character presumed dead, Hearst will be off the canvas until further notice. Actor Nick Chinlund debuted Friday as Mickey Diamond, a character connected to Julian and “Luke.”
