Sonny crosses the line
I disagree with Sonny – this whole custody battle is about more than winning with Jax. It’s about what’s best for the children. No child is safe around Jason or Sonny. Jax realizes that hard and cold fact. Sonny doesn’t. Children in Sonny’s life are at risk. That’s a fact. Brenda will come to that realization soon.
It’s sad that Sonny is choosing Carly over Brenda. We all know that in the end Sonny's decision will
end his marriage. And Brenda isn’t stupid. She can see the change that’s come over Sonny. She knows Sonny framed Jax. And what a ridiculous way to do it – who would believe Jax would use drugs and attack a woman? It’s completely out of character for him. Jax is the white knight – he’s not an abusive man.
The unfortunate thing is that Carly is forever damaged by her association with Sonny. Carly’s life is like a bad novel. It’s filled with violence and danger, thanks to her loyalty to Jason and Sonny.
As bright as Jax is, it makes me wonder why he left a paper trail to paying off the mediator. This can’t be the first time Jax paid someone off. So one would assume he would know how to cover his tracks. Again, it was very out of character for him.
Here’s what confuses me about the Florida adventure – doesn’t Dante have a job in Port Charles? Yet he’s undercover indefinitely in Florida. Why would Dante risk his career to help Lulu find Luke?
One has to admire Kristina’s tenacity. The girl goes for it when she finds something she wants. In this case, that something is Ethan. And he’s kidding himself if he thinks Vegas will scare Kristian off. I think she’ll take him up on the offer and run with it. Then things will take a very interesting turn for those two. Wait and see.
In actor news, watch for Vanessa Marcil Giovinazzo (Brenda) to head off the canvas this week. It seems that the ballad of Sonny and Brenda has come to an end – at least for now.
