Elizabeth and Lucky - then and now
Funny how Diane notices Kiefer's barbaric behavior toward Kristina and Alexis is still clueless. And do you notice how Kristina glows when Ethan is around? She really has it bad for the guy. I actually think Ethan is a better choice for Kristina. Once Rebecca hightails it out of town, that is. Hopefully Ethan will be the man to "rescue" Kristina from Kiefer's abuse. I would love to see that happen. And how cute would it be to see Natasha's daughter with Luke's son?
"You took care of me that night and you never stopped," Liz said to Lucky when she recounted the night she was raped. It was an interesting use of history, especially since Jonathan Jackson was playing Lucky at that time. Here's my only gripe - I kind of think Lucky stopped taking care of Liz when he became an addict. How about when he had the affair with Maxie? Was Lucky taking care of Liz then? I think not. Don't misunderstand - I know Lucky is completely devoted to Liz now. Lucky is so in love with Liz, he can't see what's right in front of him.
It was really interesting seeing those old clips of Rebecca Herbst and Jonathan Jackson as Elizabeth and Lucky. I forgot how great they were together back in their younger days. I have to say that I like the current Elizabeth so much better than the young, rebellious one. All the heavy makeup back then was a bit much. I love how naturally beautiful Elizabeth is now. Very little makeup - she just looks earthy and natural.
Sonny really swallowed his pride calling on Jax for help. Imagine Sonny practically begging Jax to call in some favors to help Michael. If I hadn't seen it, I wouldn't have believed it. I wonder if Jax will comply. I'm kind of thinking he will, but only for Carly's sake. Jax sees the forest through the trees. He knows that Michael is destined to become like Sonny. Too much has happened to Michael. He needs major professional help. In a few years, Michael will take over Sonny's business. Jax realizes there's nothing anyone can do to prevent that because it is what it is. It's Michael's destiny.
I'm a little confused about the connection between Ronnie and Franco. Obviously they have some history. Franco knows Ronnie is working undercover. With Franco on his way out, I can't help but wonder about Ronnie's fate.
In actor news, Natalia Livingston (Rebecca) is on her way off the canvas. Chad Brannon (ex Zander) will be part of Rebecca's exit. It's been hinted that Brannon will play a Zander look alike and the two will meet and fall instantly in love. The role of Dr. Lisa Niles, played by Julie Mond, has been recast. Brianna Brown will air as Lisa in January. Finally, per the president of the Official General Hospital Fan Club, Jonathan Jackson and his band, Enation, released an album (The Future is a Memory: Live From the Northwest) last week.
