Robert & John expose the truth about ‘Duke’

Michael Easton (John, GH)What a thrill it was watching John McBain team up with Robert Scorpio to save  Anna. It reminded me a bit of the old days with Frisco Jones and Robert. Now back to John McBain – he’s one incredibly smart man, turning up the heat in that hotel room to see ‘Duke’s’ reaction. But I think the best part of the whole episode was watching Faison’s mask melt as the hands of Robert. All in all, it was wonderful – an exciting combination of great writing and stellar acting. And an expert mix of GH history combined with the strong new character of John McBain.

Here’s the thing fans are wondering about – will Anna and Robert find Robin before it’s too late? And will they deliver her home to Patrick and Emma just in time for Christmas?

The only down side to Robin coming home is Sabrina. The poor girl has such a crush on Patrick. And she’s simply lovely. So which man of Port Charles is worthy of Sabrina’s company? Actually, it would be nice to see Milo take a shine to Sabrina. They would be very cute together. And how would Sabrina handle dating one of Sonny’s bodyguards?

Speaking of pairings, something tells me that Elizabeth and AJ will become a couple soon. Liz can see a small glimmer of Jason in AJ. And what better way for AJ to redeem himself than with the lovely nurse Webber. Both Liz and Jason are single, so why not pair them up? It will make for some interesting situations.

It’s a little strange watching Sonny and Shawn bond. If I remember correctly, they were never very close. But now that Jason is gone, Shawn is suddenly the new enforcer. Shawn does fit the role well, but I rather like him as a simple diner manager.

In actor news, Scott Reeves (Steve) confirmed he will exit the show in early 2013. Reeves told his Twitter followers he was ‘let go’ from the soap. This is sad news for those of us who love both actor and character. And it begs the question, what will happen to Olivia (Lisa LoCicero)?
