The Nurses Ball concludes, but not without drama
The Nurses Ball is a beautiful thing. This year was no exception. Seeing the talent of Bradford Anderson (Spinelli), Sonya Eddy (Epiphany), Teresa Castillo (Sabrina), and the adorable Brooklyn Rae Silzer (Emma) was wonderful and so entertaining.
And along with the talent came the zany antics of the one and only Richard Simmons. Longtime fans remember Simmons as the aerobics instructor at the campus disco. But this time around, Simmons out did himself. He played a kind of crazy version of himself that made me laugh out loud. Only Richard Simmons could have made it work so well.
Now for the bad news. Britt is supposedly pregnant with Patrick’s child. And she had to announce it at the Ball. Nice touch Britt. But we really can’t be surprised by anything Britt does, considering she’s Faison’s daughter. And Britt’s mom is the evil Dr. Obrecht. How do you like that one? I have to admit, I like it because it all makes sense.
Now for the not so light stuff. Stavros is alive?! Unbelievable and amazing. We all saw it coming – all of us but Laura. Did you see her tremble with fear when Stavros came close to her? That was just a reminder of the stellar acting of Genie Francis (Laura). I can’t wait to see what happens next.
In actor news, it looks like Kristen Alderson (Starr), Michael Easton (John), and Roger Howarth (Todd) will be back next month. Ingo Rademacher (Jax) returns to the dance floor this week on ‘Dancing with the Stars.’ The competition airs Monday night with the results show on Tuesday night.
