It’s a summer of sleuthing for Colleen and JT, but they get in a tad too deep. Instead of solving the mystery, the end result is not fun and games. Good thing that they have each other. They’ll need the support system, that’s for sure. Speaking of JT and Colleen, curiosity about Brad Carlton’s past not only plagues them, but Paul as well. Naturally, Colleen seems to be the most affected. Meanwhile, Brad’s secret begins to impact his relationship with Victoria. Will his past come to haunt him this summer? Meanwhile, Sharon can’t help herself from turning to Brad for emotional support, even as she reaches out to her husband. So, who does she really want? Nicholas or Brad?
While on the other side of Genoa City, Phyllis is prego. Will the baby she’s carrying lead her back into Nick’s arms? Or Jack’s?
At the same time, Jack’s been asked to leave his job. His nemesis, Victor, offered him another one, which he respectfully declined. But for how long? Jack soon gets a new career opportunity and this one’s just too good to pass up. Could it be the end of Jack and Victor’s feud? Is Jack truly working hand-in-hand with Victor, or does he have another agenda?
In more romantic developments, Kevin’s love life is definitely looking up. Unfortunately, Colleen seems to be the fly in the ointment. Does she back off, or will she continue to interfere? If so, will Kevin be thwarted in love again, or could he be pleasantly surprised?
Plus, Nikki’s love for Victor has never been stronger. He continues to remain kinder and gentler and his sense of well-being grows. Will his transformation continue, or are forces already at work to destroy his peace and tranquility?
But as things at the Newman’s seem to be taking a positive turn, Father’s Day threatens to be bleak at the Winters this year. First off, Neil comes to face the reality that everything in his life has changed, and nothing will ever be the same again where Lily, Dru, and Malcolm are concerned. The big question is has Neil finally had it with Dru’s charades? Is he ready to move on with another woman? Could Carmen be the answer he doesn’t know he’s seeking? Meanwhile, Daniel and Lily’s teen marriage thrives, despite the odds. But will their love survive when an ugly secret from Daniel’s past comes back to haunt him?
Shortly thereafter, Michael and Lauren get good news about their unborn child. However, as Michael revisits his painful history with his father, will new fears impact his relationship with Lauren? Speaking of Michael, Gloria is determined to get what she wants. To what depths will she stoop in her quest to move the Fishers in and the Abbotts out?
And then there’s Genoa City newcomer, Will Bardwell. Who will win his heart -- the savvy Jill or the enticing Ashley?
Finally, it’s back to Nikki as the copasetic, tranquil and loving atmosphere with Victor suddenly takes a turn for the worst. In a true soap like turn events, Katherine becomes Nikki’s sole confidante as she faces the most difficult dilemma ever in her relationship with Victor. Does she walk out on him for good this time?
