Maxwell Caulfield

Maxwell Caulfield left his native England at 18 to seek his fortune in America. His Off-Broadway debut as a delinquent schoolboy in "Class Enemy" netted him a prestigious Theatre World Award. The title role in "The Elephant Man" on the Florida winter circuit opposite British stage and screen beauty Juliet Mills launched a pairing that has now been running close to quarter of a century!

Another title role in Joe Orton's black comedy "Entertaining Mr. Sloane" prompted the interest of Hollywood that led to Maxwell being cast in the lead role in the movie musical "Grease 2" with Michelle Pfeiffer. Showing his versatility he segued into the "The Boys Next Door" playing Charlie Sheen's homicidal partner in crime.

Returning to the New York theatre, he appeared on the same bills as legendary actresses Geraldine Page and Jessica Tandy.

"Dynasty" spinoff "The Colbys" saw him playing Charlton Heston's renegade playboy son, Miles.

Films from this period include "Electric Dreams,” "Mind Games" and "Sundown.”  A national stage tour of "Sleuth" starring Stacy Keach was a respite from more film work such as "Prey of the Jaguar,” "Dance of Death" for king schlockmeister Roger Corman and "Project Alien.”

It had taken longer than originally intended but Maxwell's Broadway debut was to be in the Tony award winning production of "An Inspector Calls.” He stayed on in New York to do a six month stint on ABC daytime drama "All My Children.” Interspersed with TV work "Gettysburg,” "The Rockford Files,” "Beverly Hills 90210" and "Veronica's Closet," his most notable film credits of late include the teen cult favorite "Empire Records" and "The Real Blonde" for indie maverick Tom DiCillo.

He joins the Fort Myers Film Festival with wife, Passions star, Juliet Mills, taking time out from his current project for BBC TV the immensely popular medical drama "Casualty" on which he plays American pediatrician, Jim Brodie.

Days of our Lives Melissa Archer says Serena is sort of interested in herself

A veteran of daytime television Melissa Archer, who now plays Serena Mason on Days of our Lives, said that playing the role is just another day and it's just going to work.

Archer played Natalie Buchanan on One Life To Live for ten years until the show was cancelled in 2011.  She then switched to the now defunct online version.

"I look at this job as going to work," Archer said. "I love what I do. Serena is so much fun, and she has a lot going for her. She does many things and is sort of interested in herself."
