Sweeney signs on as a guest host for comedy game show

Celebrity Co-Host Week airs February 9-13. 2004

For the first time, “Street Smarts” host Frank Nicotero will share center stage with celebrity guest hosts during “Street Smarts Celebrity Co-Host Week,” airing February 9-13.

The special week of the popular comedy game show kicks off as Frank makes beautiful music with the unpredictable Judy Tenuta (comedian, musician).  James Avery (Fresh Prince of Bel-Air) delivers laughs while Alison Sweeney (Days of Our Lives) takes Frank’s breath away and Greg Proops (Who’s Line is it Anyway) and Frank spar like Regis and Kelly.

The week wraps up with the lucky winner of the “Street Smarts Host for a Day” contest getting his or her big shot.  The winner, selected by online fan voting, will be revealed during the show on Friday, February 13th.

“Famous people watch TV too, and some of them are big fans of ‘Street Smarts,’” says host Frank Nicotero.  “This week, I’m bringing in some of our biggest celebrity fans to help me host the show.  It’s a week of sharing, caring and unique pairings.”

“Street Smarts,” hosted by comedian Frank Nicotero, is a multi-round comedy game show in which two contestants face off to determine which one of them can best predict the answers given by everyday people on the streets of America. After being introduced to the men and women “on the street” via video clips, contestants place their bets and are then shown the question and answer segment to see if they guessed right or wrong.

Watch for Alison Sweeney's appearance on Wednesday, February 11, 2004.
