EMMY Season Heats Up!

BURBANK, CA. – April 19, 2005 – In celebration of the Daytime Emmy Awards, SOAPnet will broadcast a live two-hour special from the red carpet Friday, May 20 (7 PM, ET/PT) and a one-hour post-show round up Monday, May 23 (11 PM, ET/PT.)  Tupelo-Honey Productions will produce both shows and Cary Glotzer will serve as executive producer.

Terri Ivens and Bobbie Eakes of All My Children join Guiding Light heartthrob Ricky Paull Goldin to host SOAPnet…Live From The Daytime Emmys.  The two-hour special will showcase all the glitz, glamour, suspense and fashion of the awards and will lead up to the Emmy broadcast at 9 PM ET/PT on CBS.

SOAPnet’s Daytime Emmy Post-Show, SOAPnet: Daytime Emmys… Unzipped, will feature daytime fashion maven Linda Dano, All My Children’s Eva LaRue, and the fierce opinions of SOAPnet’s I Wanna Be a Soap Star judge Michael Bruno.  The post-show is sure to delight with fabulous critiques of who wore what, who won what, and who should have stayed home.
