Emmy Presenters and Nominees Get Slim Fast in Goodie Bags!

At The 30th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards the stars of daytime TV will undoubtedly dazzle the crowds with their elaborate hair-dos, sparkling jewelry and stylish clothing.  But while fashion trends are always changing, one thing remains the same -- the stars always want to look their best.  And since the camera adds 10 pounds, thin is definitely in.

It's no secret that diets have become the hottest fashion accessory for
the "rich and famous".  So this year, a delicious addition has been made to
the already fabulous gift bags provided to all Emmy presenters and nominees.
Slim-Fast will take its place as the "must-have" accessory of the awards
season for the body-and-health-conscious VIPs of Daytime.

"We are thrilled to be included this year in the Daytime Emmy Awards
official celebrity gift bag," says Mark Boot, Director of Marketing at
Slim-Fast Foods Company.  "While the Television Academy of Arts and Sciences
celebrates the successes of these daytime stars, Slim-Fast too celebrates the
celebrity lifestyle -- busy and on-the-go.  By offering nutritious and tasty
meal options, Slim-Fast can keep stars in shape and looking good."

With so many celebrities on fad diets and pursuing unhealthy weight loss,
Slim-Fast offers a simple, effective, healthy alternative with balanced
nutrition and a proven weight loss plan.  "Regardless of the claims of fad
diet advocates, the problem with many of these diets is that they cut
something out -- in order to lose weight and stay healthy, balanced nutrition
is key," says Betty Kovacs, MS, RD, nutrition coordinator, St. Luke's Obesity
Research Center.  "What most people don't realize is that a calorie is a
calorie and it is important to have a balance of protein, carbohydrates and
fats."

Bottom line: Slim-Fast Meal Options are portion controlled meals that make
it the perfect accessory for the "rich and famous" -- and everyone else!

Slim-Fast Foods Company, headquartered in West Palm Peach, FL, is
