Television's Biggest Stars Join Kathie Lee Gifford as Presenters at The 28th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards

Rosie O'Donnell, Al Roker, Martha Stewart, Kel Mitchell, Pat Sajak and Kelly Ripa are among the stellar list of presenters scheduled to appear at "The 28th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards" on May 18. In addition, Bob Barker will present the Lifetime Achievement Award to the legendary television game show host Ralph Edwards. The live event, hosted by Kathie Lee Gifford, honors the most talented and versatile performers on daytime programming, as well as games, and will originate from Radio City Music Hall in New York City on NBC.

The telecast will also mark the highly anticipated return to the daytime scene of General Hospital's Ingo Rademacher (Jax). In addition, the show will feature presentations by soap stars including: Deidre Hall (Marlena), Drake Hogestyn (John), Kristian Alfonso (Hope), Peter Reckell (Bo), Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe) and Jay Johnson (Philip), from "Days of our Lives;" Galen Gering (Luis), Lindsay Korman(Theresa), Juliet Mills (Tabitha), Travis Schuldt (Ethan) and McKenzie Westmore (Sheridan) from "Passions;" Rebecca Budig (Greenlee), Josh Duhamel (Leo), Cameron Mathison (Ryan), and Mark Consuelos (Mateo) from "All My Children;" Terri Conn (Katie) and Paul Leyden (Simon) from "As the World Turns;" Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke), Sean Kanan (Deacon), and Jennifer Finnigan (Bridget) from "Bold & the Beautiful;" Nancy St. Alban (Michelle), Paul Anthony Stewart (Danny), and Ricky Paull Goldin (Guss) from "Guiding Light;" Erika Slezak (Viki) and Roger Howarth (Todd) from "One Life to Live;" Kiko Ellsworth (Jamal), Erin Hershey (Alison) and Brian Presley (Jack) from "Port Charles;" and Peter Bergman (Jack) Michelle Stafford (Phyllis), Don Diamont (Brad) from "Young & the Restless."

The 28th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards is a presentation of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) in cooperation with The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (ATAS). NBCs broadcast of the awards will be produced by the dick clark production group.

Tickets to The 28th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards are available to the public through all Ticketmaster outlets. Tickets will also be available during normal box office hours at Radio City Music Hall.(Reprinted from Top of the Week, 5-7-01)
