Peter Reckell (Bo, Days of our Lives)Congratulations to Days of our Lives.  For the week of September 26-30, Days of our Lives(1.0 rating, 7 share among women 18-49, 0.7/4 among women 18-34) tied for #5 among network daytime series in the women 18-49 demographic and tied for #1 in the valuable women 18-34 race. Versus the same week last year, Days is up 7 percent in total viewers (2.6 million vs. 2.4 million).  Way to go, Days!

In a week that marked the return of some fan-favorite characters, Days matched its highest women 18-49 rating in 15 weeks (since the week of June 13-17) and tied its highest women 18-34 rating in nearly eight months (since the week of January 31-February 4).

Season to date, Days of our Lives is tied for #5 in the women 18-49 category and tied for #4 in the women 18-34 demo.

Ratings reflect “live plus same day” data from Nielsen Media Research unless otherwise noted. Season-to-date figures are averages of “live plus seven day” data except for the two most recent weeks, which are “live plus same day.”

Plus, I am willing to wager, and we are talking considerable dollars here, that as soon as One Life to Live leaves broadcast in January, Days ratings are gonna soar!  Time will tell.

Meanwhile, Days keep up the great work. I am loving the reboot!

Days of our Lives' Two-time Emmy Award winner Chandler Massey: his win, his role, his future

With his 23rd birthday approaching soon, Chandler Massey (Will) of Days of our Lives is a three time Emmy Award nominee and a two time winner. He also has tackled a very controversial role that he portrays so eloquently. As a gay character, he has dealt with tough issues including coming out and sorting through his inner feelings. The scenes are so well written and his performance has been nothing but exuberant. He is the first actor to ever win an Emmy for playing a gay character, taking the role to new heights.
