Beloved Days of our Lives actress Deidre Hall (Marlena) stopped by TV Guide Network’s studios today to chat with Hollywood 411’s Audrey Cleo.
In the exclusive sit down interview airing Sunday, July 10th at 7/6C, Hall shares her feelings about the demise of soap operas – once a staple in daytime television.
“There's a place for daytime drama in our lives...We are your family. We’re there when you are sick, when you are lonely, when your own family didn’t show up… we are there in your home with you. There's a hunger for that,” she tells Audrey. “It’s hard to see the genre go, but it’s not gone for good.”
Hall, who in 1976 began her role as Dr. Marlena Evans in NBC’s longest running soap, was forced to exit the show in 2009 due to
network budget cuts. So – is she returning? Hall addresses the rumors once and for all, exclusively to Hollywood 411.
“It’s not the same show I left,” she tells Cleo. “We miss the old show.”
Do you think Dr. Marlena Evans is returning to Days? Tune in to TV Guide Network’s Hollywood 411 on Sunday, July 10 at 7/6C to find out Deidre’s announcement!
