(February 15, 2006… Los Angeles, CA) Mario Lopez, best known for his role on "Saved by the Bell" and as one of the hosts of the talk show "The Other Half," will join the cast of The Bold and the Beautiful beginning Monday, March 20 on the CBS Television Network. Lopez will play Dr. Christian Ramirez, brother of Los Angeles firefighter Hector Ramirez, played by Lorenzo Lamas.
Widely known for his role as Slater on the comedy series "Saved by The Bell," Lopez also became familiar to television audiences through his series regular role on "Pacific Blue," where he portrayed police officer Bobby Cruz. In addition, Lopez served as host of the syndicated series "Name Your Adventure" and portrayed Olympic diving champion Greg Louganis in the television movie "Breaking the Surface: The Greg Louganis Story."
So the question is -- how will Dr. Christian Ramirez impact the lives of LA's hot fashion world? We'll have to tune in on March 20 to find out!
