After record-breaking three-time Daytime Emmy winner Jennifer Finnigan left the role of Bridget Forrester early this year, her replacement, Emily Harrison, never really caught on with fans.  Well, we've just heard from our contacts at B&B that the role has again been recast.

"B&B is announcing today that Ashley Jones has been cast as Bridget Forrester who returns from her graduate studies in Europe in episode 4450, which airs in the U.S. on December 17, 2004," said the spokesperson from B&B.

Jones is perhaps best known to TV audiences for her Emmy-nominated performance as Megan Dennison on The Young and the Restless (1997-2001).

Coincidentally, Jones recently appeared in an episode of the primetime series Crossing Jordan, along with former B&B regular Jennifer Finnigan, who also played the character of Bridget on B&B.

As far as what's in store for Bridget when she returns to the canvas this December, we can only speculate.  But with Jones in the driver's seat, you can bet there will be a ton of interesting story ahead.  Stay tuned!
