Alicia Minshew joined the cast of "All My Children" in the role of Kendall Hart in January 2002. She had big shoes to fill as the role had previously been played by Daytime Emmy winner Sarah Michelle Geller. She quickly won over the fans and now it's as though Minshew is the one and only Kendall.

 

Minshew's recent television and film credits include "Celebrity Death Match," "Hit and Runway" "The Caprice," "Game Day" and "The Music Zone." No stranger to the theatre, she has been seen in "Beggar on Horseback," "Of Love and Betrayal," "Godspell," "Nunsense" and "Kiss Me Kate," to name just a few productions. She has also appeared in several national commercials, voiceovers and print ads.

 

Born in Plantation, Florida, Minshew is one of four daughters of an episcoplaian minister father and a fitness instructor mom. She remains extremely close to her family to this day. 

 

Minshew is a huge and active sports fan. She enjoys swimming, long distance running, weight training, aerobics and dancing. She also enjoys playing the piano and writing.

 

She has brown hair and blue eyes and celebrates her birthday on May 28. She currently resides in New York City.

 

Minshew's nickname is "Lish." Her favorite food is peanut butter. She received a musical theatre scholarship to Indian River College and while there, hosted an MTV-like music video show. She is of Italian and English decent and has been in a relationship with film editor Michael McKinney since 2002.
