Eric and Donna bask in the glow of making love in the office until Eric gets a warning call that Stephanie is in the building. Eric thinks this is the perfect opportunity to prove to Stephanie that he and Donna’s split is for real. They quickly get dressed and begin to argue, making it appear that Eric is berating Donna and kicking her out of the office and his life for good.
Stephanie listens outside the door, content with the pain she has caused. Or at least, thinks she has caused. Stephanie cannot wait to rub it in that she won; forgetting that she blackmailed Donna into tricking Eric, she didn’t really win -- only by default. The women argue over who’s morals are worse. Eric intervenes casting Donna out and coming down on her for speaking so disrespectfully to his wife and the woman he loves.
Stephanie knows in her heart that she has Eric back and committed.
Brooke doesn’t believe she and Nick can make a life together because she and Ridge are going to become a family for RJ. Nick promises the sun, moon and stars to convince Brooke to forget about Ridge and come back to him. Taylor hasn’t been gone an hour and Nick has her never coming back.
Speaking of Taylor, she finds comfort in Rick and a kiss from her daughter’s one-time love. Rick doesn’t apologize for kissing Taylor, and admits that he would like to do it again.
