Ridge decides to play detective and Bridget finds a cure for Katie

Ronn Moss (Ridge Forrester, Bold & the BEautiful)

There was nothing bold this week on the Bold & the Beautiful, more like booorrrring. Katie and Nick partied and danced the evening away until she became too weak to go on. Nick assumed she had passed away but luckily Bridget and Brooke arrived to find a faint pulse. The amazing thing was Bridget finally found an obscure treatment to prolong Katie’s life and she just happened to have the necessary treatment in her take-along medical bag.

Viewers were treated or subjected to a beyond cheesy “flashback” to Katie’s real prom night as she told Nick the story of what made it so horrible. Before seeing her memory clip I didn’t think it could get much worse in the dork department than the fake prom Nick created for her. B&B never misses a beat, just when you think they can’t get anymore dorky, they do.

So, Marcus started last week at Forrester Creations instantly making a friend in his co-worker Steffy. He’s been a hard worker staying on the down-low not yet meeting anyone except Steffy, yet somehow Ridge, Thorne, and Felicia are wise to a shady connection between Marcus and Donna. Ridge vows to get to the bottom of it, but more importantly for now they have to get Donna out of the company “just in case.”

Ridge gets word from Jared that rumor in the fashion world is Forrester Creations is in danger of going under due to the supposed bad press over Eric and Donna’s marriage.

I may not be a mega-fashion house owner, but common sense tells me if the company was that close to destitute that it could crumble over one insignificant marriage that Ridge, Felicia, and Thorne are the only ones spreading vicious rumors over, then the company didn’t have a prayer to begin with.

The most appalling thing is Ridge can actually stand there, with a straight face and full knowledge of his turbulent and scandalous romantic history, and blame Donna for bad business.

Sorry to keep it short this week but I had little to work with.

Days of our Lives Melissa Archer says Serena is sort of interested in herself

A veteran of daytime television Melissa Archer, who now plays Serena Mason on Days of our Lives, said that playing the role is just another day and it's just going to work.

Archer played Natalie Buchanan on One Life To Live for ten years until the show was cancelled in 2011.  She then switched to the now defunct online version.

"I look at this job as going to work," Archer said. "I love what I do. Serena is so much fun, and she has a lot going for her. She does many things and is sort of interested in herself."
