Atlantic recording artist Jason Castro guest stars on The BOld and the Beautiful, Thursday, July 29 and Friday, July 30, on the CBS Television Network. Castro, third runner-up on the seventh season of "American Idol," will perform "Love Uncompromised" off his recently released self-titled debut album.

Now for the soap scoop! Castro will appear in scenes with Kim Matula "Hope", Zack Conroy "Oliver" shown here, and Sarah Joy Brown "Aggie" as "Oliver" attempts to romance "Hope" back into his life after a terrible misunderstanding tore the two young lovers apart.

FYI -- Castro's current single, "That's What I'm Here For," was heard in a recent episode of The Bold and the Beautiful.

Oh and in case you didn't know, on June 27, 2010, The Bold and the Beautiful won the Daytime Emmy® for "Outstanding Drama Series" for the second consecutive year at the 37th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy® Awards. On June 10, 2010, The Bold and the Beautiful was the recipient of the Golden Nymph Award at the International TV Audience Awards in the "Telenovela/Soap Opera" category at the Monte Carlo Television Festival awards ceremony, confirming that in its genre, with an estimated 35 million daily viewers, and for the fifth consecutive year, it remains the most watched series in the world, viewed in more than 100 countries.
