{mosimage}Episode #12,859----Lucy rushes out to take Johnny to the hospital – and comes face to face with Barbara, while Dusty finally gets the sitter’s message and screams to be let off the plane. When he does, he flags down a cab – only to see Paul itching for the same vehicle. Barbara insists on calling an ambulance for Johnny, but since Lucy knows none are available, she waits for Barbara to turn away, and takes off with the tot. On the road, Lucy’s car goes out of control and they end up trapped inside.

Meanwhile, Mike’s car is one of a multi-car pile-up, all triggered by Jade, who is also hurt. Katie finds Mike’s car empty and a trail of blood. Dallas rescues Jade and brings her to the hospital, where she refuses to be examined. Will urges Gwen to get out of her frozen car and come into their house. They realize they are stuck together for the duration. Will asks Gwen if they can’t just move on together. Dallas calls to tell Will about the accident and is surprised to hear Jade is pregnant. He asks her why she didn’t tell him.

Elsewhere in the storm, Emily tells Meg that there is nothing Meg can do to keep Emily from leaving town with Paul’s baby. Meg pleads with her not to go out into this weather, but Emily insists. Meg locks her in the barn. Emily pounds on the door, then doubles over in pain. Meg doesn’t buy it at first, but then Emily says her water broke….

Days of our Lives' Brendan Michael Coughlin enjoys playing Tad and being a new dad

When asked what it is like to play Tad on Days of our Lives, Brendan Michael Coughlin shouts exuberantly, "I love him!"

Coughlin has been playing the so-called behind the scenes instigator for the last two years. He has no family that is ever mentioned on the show, but he is there. He came on as Will's (Guy Wilson) best friend, but when it became clear that Will was gay, Tad did everything but bash and degrade and mock him. The irony? At the recent wedding of Will and Sonny (Freddie Smith), he was best man. Go figure!

"I know. It has been a wild ride. I did a whole turn around, and I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed doing the wedding. I really enjoy playing this guy. He is a total goof-off. He means well, but is always on the wrong side of the rope." Coughlin said. "I have grown to love him. He is comic relief. I always had dramatic roles, so this is fun."
