{mosimage}Episode #12,969----When the sitter cancels on Jack, Katie offers to stay with the boys. Katie tries to win the unruly boys over and finally does when they learn how she got her black eye. Katie explains about the hockey game and asks the boys to teach her to play. Jack arrives, and he and Katie share a close moment.

Emily is leaving a message for Cheri when Dusty arrives. Dusty probes, but Emily tells Dusty in no uncertain terms to butt out. Later, Cheri arrives worried that Dusty will make trouble for them. Dusty asks Jack about Cheri’s operation at the Avalon, and Jack agrees to look into it.

Jade fills Will in on the flowers from Adam and how freaked Maddie and Gwen were. Later, Barbara tells Will they need to leave immediately for a ceremony honoring Hal. Meanwhile, Jade tells Margo that Adam sent her flowers, and reveals that Adam tried to rape Gwen.

Gwen insists the ring is hers and Maddie insists that Jade must have sent the ring. Gwen still worries that Adam is alive, and Maddie suggests that they check the grave. Barbara arrives and tells Gwen about Hal’s posthumous medal in D.C., but Gwen covers and says she can’t go. Will accepts her excuse and later Gwen and Maddie dig for Adam’s body, but it’s not there.

Days of our Lives' Brendan Michael Coughlin enjoys playing Tad and being a new dad

When asked what it is like to play Tad on Days of our Lives, Brendan Michael Coughlin shouts exuberantly, "I love him!"

Coughlin has been playing the so-called behind the scenes instigator for the last two years. He has no family that is ever mentioned on the show, but he is there. He came on as Will's (Guy Wilson) best friend, but when it became clear that Will was gay, Tad did everything but bash and degrade and mock him. The irony? At the recent wedding of Will and Sonny (Freddie Smith), he was best man. Go figure!

"I know. It has been a wild ride. I did a whole turn around, and I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed doing the wedding. I really enjoy playing this guy. He is a total goof-off. He means well, but is always on the wrong side of the rope." Coughlin said. "I have grown to love him. He is comic relief. I always had dramatic roles, so this is fun."
