{mosimage}Episode #12,977----Emily lies to Susan about doing a story on a local prostitution ring. Susan is mortified, and charges in to confront Dusty. When Susan leaves, a disgusted Dusty doesn’t understand how Emily can lie to herself. Later, Emily’s client wants to watch a porn movie while he’s with Emily. Lily takes another pill, not sure what made the baby sick. Meanwhile, Paul is drawn to the baby food and fears all of the baby food is tainted. Meg asks a nurse to test the food, showing her belief in Paul’s visions. Lily is adamant the baby food did not make Ethan sick. Another baby is admitted and Lily hears the mother say the only thing her baby has eaten is Valley’s Best Baby Food, and soon the ER is bursting with babies with the same symptoms. Ethan’s tests come back positive for E-Coli.

Meg gets a call confirming the e-coli outbreak is traced to the baby food. Parker consoles worried Meg and puts his arms around her. Paul is touched by Meg’s belief in these visions, she’s moved and they end up in a kiss.

Dusty summons Lily back to the office to deal with the crisis. Dusty gets rid of the press and tells Lily that the baby food people are working with growers who have many health code violations. Lily is panicked but a calm Craig offers to take care of things.

Days of our Lives makes history with first gay male wedding

The big day finally has come! Days of our Lives made history, and it was no April fools joke. The show is known for its long standing reputation for having storylines that are firsts, or tackling controversial subjects, or going out on a limb. I mean who can forget being possessed by the devil? Well! The show just aired the first gay male wedding making the first such event in daytime television.

The story was handled impeccably, and done tastefully. The same sex relationship has been moving slowing through trials and tribulations for the last several years.

First there was the acknowledging who you are. Then the accepting, and finally the coming out. And now the jubilant wedding of the duo known as WilSon. Will Horton (Guy Wilson) and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) is taking the relationship into orbit, or like the old original Star Trek show said, 'to go where no man has gone before,' at least not on a daytime drama.
