Episode #12,974----Craig offers Meg a present, but she rejects it. Meg is surprised by Craig’s vulnerability, and he convinces her to stay and have breakfast. Craig is able to put the necklace on Meg, and there is sexual tension.

Luke doesn’t want to tell Lily why he didn’t win academic prize, and Brad overhears. Brad tricks Luke’s teacher into coming down, and finds out that he didn’t give Luke the prize because Luke was gay. He throws the teacher up against the wall, and the security guard warns he’s going to call the police.

Faith hands Ethan a Teddy bear, as Paul has another vision about the bear. He finds out from Faith that Ethan has a new bear and tries to figure out the source of his vision. When Lily goes to pick up Ethan, she finds that he is missing and demands Faith tell her where Ethan is. Meanwhile, with Ethan in his arms, Paul demands to see Meg.

Maddie tells Casey they can’t stay together. Meanwhile, Margo knocks on the door and Gwen finds out Margo is looking for her and Maddie. Will covers for Gwen and suggests they run away. Gwen gives in, but wants to take Maddie with them. Later, Casey catches Maddie about to run away, as Jade tries to stop Will from doing the same.

When ABC announced the cancellation of long time fan favorite soap operas All My Children and One Life to Live in the spring of 2011, all havoc broke loose. Passionate fans took to the internet, boycotted ABC's advertisers, called for the firing of then ABC Daytime head, Brian Frons (who spearheaded the cancellations), picketed the studio, did anything and everything they possibly could to let the network know just how unhappy they were with the network's decision to dump their continuing stories for the more cost efficient lifestyle and talk shows that were to replace the soaps.

One such loyal fan, Flo DiBona, has chronicled the events of this tumultuous time in her new book, Soapers.
