Later, Maddie encourages Noah to call his dad about going to school, but Noah gets nowhere when he asks his dad to reconsider allowing him to go to Northwestern. When Noah questions Luke’s distance, he admits he’s got feelings for Noah.

Dallas has news that JJ was seen with a man and woman and Jack readies to leave but tells Carly she can’t come with him. Katie updates Brad who tells her Carly won’t back off and to remember JJ’s Carly’s son. After Brad leaves insecure Katie, she feels like someone’s following her. Carly and Jack are both worried about finding JJ before Silas hurts him or worse.

Holden asks Lily if she was ever going to tell him the truth about the ransom money. Lily defends herself and asks Holden for forgiveness. Holden leaves and later Lily warns Carly to stop interfering.

Aaron watches Sofie’s boyfriend to bully her. Sofie sees Aaron’s been watching, and defends Cole’s behavior to Aaron who is concerned. Holden comes to talk to Aaron, and Aaron points out that Holden that he and Lily have staying power, but Holden wonders if this time it’s different.

When ABC announced the cancellation of long time fan favorite soap operas All My Children and One Life to Live in the spring of 2011, all havoc broke loose. Passionate fans took to the internet, boycotted ABC's advertisers, called for the firing of then ABC Daytime head, Brian Frons (who spearheaded the cancellations), picketed the studio, did anything and everything they possibly could to let the network know just how unhappy they were with the network's decision to dump their continuing stories for the more cost efficient lifestyle and talk shows that were to replace the soaps.

One such loyal fan, Flo DiBona, has chronicled the events of this tumultuous time in her new book, Soapers.
