Episode #12,769-----Paul gives Emily divorce papers… but not the documents relinquishing his claim to their child. Paul lies and tells Emily they won’t be ready for a few days. Emily laments to Henry that if Paul doesn’t give up his rights, her baby could be raised by Paul and that rotten Meg! They call Jessica’s office and learn that Paul has the papers after all. He just didn’t give them to Emily. Meanwhile, Paul allows Meg to believe he signed the necessary papers. Meg is thrilled. She tells Paul she’s so glad she could trust him, and agrees to move in with him.

Mike accuses Carly of trying to railroad his cousin, while Katie is at the hospital, attempting to do just that. She learns that the DNA sample found on the medallion might have been Mike’s… but it might also have been a close relative’s. Like a cousin. Katie hurries to tell Jack what she knows. He busts her bubble, however, telling Katie that he also considered that possibility and investigated, but learned that Nick has an airtight alibi – he was out of town on an “Outward Bound” camping trip at the time of the murder. Meanwhile, Nick learns his medal is gone from the repair shop. “Mrs. Kasnoff” picked it up.

Jennifer accepts Dusty’s proposal. Sex ensues.

Past Blast

Days of our Lives' Bill and Susan Hayes reflect and look forward to the 50th

For Bill Hayes and Susan Seaforth Hayes (Doug and Julie) of Days of our Lives, the upcoming 50th anniversary of the show means many fond and special moments along with memories, and a walk that takes them down memory lane.

When you hear the names Bill and Susan, or their characters Doug and Julie, the first thing that pops into one's mind is "Television Royalty." They are icons and not to mention that back in 1976 they were so hot that both of them made the cover of Time Magazine. The first time daytime actors ever to appear on the cover.
