At the church, Jennifer tries to deal with her grief over the loss of her child and Dusty comforts her, a sight that a just arriving Meg is not pleased to see. But when Barbara takes Jennifer home, Meg approaches Dusty and tries to comfort him by offering to take him out for a drink. Dusty declines, and even though Meg understands, she’s hurt and remains as determined as ever to get close to him. Meanwhile, Barbara puts Jennifer to bed and does her best to act like a real mother. But, Jennifer can’t sleep and opens the door to the corridor just as Dusty is walking by on the way to his own room. Dusty sees how distressed she is, takes her back to bed and is finally able to put her to sleep.
Off of the realization that Will and Celia have begun seeing each other, Will and Casey end up in a fist fight, which Gwen and Celia break up. Celia tells Casey he deserved the punch in his nose because of what he did to Gwen and her. Disgusted, Will and Celia leave Casey who then turns on Gwen and tells her it’s all her fault. Gwen explodes and lays into Casey about how spoiled he is and how he never even asked about her, or the baby’s welfare. Casey refuses to apologize and says that since she kept the baby a secret from him, she can’t have expected him to act like a father. He then tells her he wishes the two of them had never met.
Lily finds Keith playing a game of pool at Yo’s and apologizes for how badly her family is treating him. Keith reiterates that she is worth the hassle and as he pulls her into a dance, Luke arrives with some friends. Seeing them in an embrace he hastily retreats, only to return later and score a bottle of booze. While Luke and his friend get drunk outside, Keith arrives, grabs Luke and demands to know what he thinks he’s doing.
