Stenbeck presents Barbara with a book, The Wheel Spins, upon which the film The Lady Vanishes was based. Later, when Jack informs a "relieved" Barbara that Stenbeck has left the country, he spots the book, but not its significance.

Meanwhile, Bonnie convinces Kim to host a hospital benefit at Java Underground. Impressed, Isaac puts Bonnie in charge. Later, Ben encourages Isaac to ask Bonnie out, but he gets the impression that she is not interested.

Encouraged by Stenbeck, Barbara considers serving on the holiday benefit committee. At the same time, Nick lies to Abigail, insisting that he and Molly were never lovers. Nick and Abigail start to become intimate when Molly arrives and takes her home. Molly is horrified to hear Abigail say she and Nick love each other.
