Meg tells Paul that all charges against Dusty were dropped, but Paul doubts that Craig is done with them. Meg clarifies that Craig had nothing to do with their break up. All of a sudden, Paul has a blinding image of fire coming out of water, and begs Meg not to leave. Meanwhile, Susan asks Bob if he thinks it’s possible for someone with major head trauma to predict the future. Later, Paul struggles to get out of bed and is hit again with another vision. This time he sees Meg’s face and shouts ‘Poison!’ as Meg is about to bring a latte to her lips.

Katie accuses Henry of harboring Simon, but he denies. Katie calls Jack and they head out to see if Henry is hiding Simon. When they don’t find anyone there, Jack spots Henry’s blinking phone. As Jack moves to get it, Katie’s not so sure she wants to nail Simon. Jack figures out his phone code, and Katie asks Jack what he heard: Carly.

Carly and Simon express their love over the phone, and Simon says he’s leaving town before he gets Carly in any more trouble. Carly is determined to help him and digs out some cash and fake passports. Katie rushes in and tries to stop Henry from going up to his room, as Jack arrests Carly for aiding and abetting Simon.

When ABC announced the cancellation of long time fan favorite soap operas All My Children and One Life to Live in the spring of 2011, all havoc broke loose. Passionate fans took to the internet, boycotted ABC's advertisers, called for the firing of then ABC Daytime head, Brian Frons (who spearheaded the cancellations), picketed the studio, did anything and everything they possibly could to let the network know just how unhappy they were with the network's decision to dump their continuing stories for the more cost efficient lifestyle and talk shows that were to replace the soaps.

One such loyal fan, Flo DiBona, has chronicled the events of this tumultuous time in her new book, Soapers.
