{mosimage}Episode #12,909----Barbara thinks Emma’s arrived determined to put Meg and Paul back together, when really she wants to keep them apart. Paul sees Emily and lights into her, but Meg arrives and tells Paul to leave Emily alone. Paul tries to explain his actions, but Meg clarifies that although she understands, it reinforces her decision that she and Paul shouldn’t be together. Meg ends up walking away, and Paul finds himself confronted by Craig.

At the same time, Lucy tries convincing Craig that it’s safer to pursue Johnny through legal channels. Craig’s lawyer arrives with a court order giving him permission to take Johnny for a day, pushing Lucy to make good on her promise to get Johnny. Barbara is appalled when she hears Lucy is taking the baby to Craig.

Disguised Henry isn’t exactly enthusiastic about playing a role to help Katie get information out of Vienna – until he sees Vienna. Mike shows up and blows his cover, as Vienna tells Katie, Mike and Henry that she’s already told Jack about the stolen diamonds. Mike gives Katie the cold shoulder, and later she tells Jack to arrest Carly and Simon. When that doesn’t work, Katie tells Henry that the only way for her to get Mike back is to steal back the diamond.

Carly is uncomfortably in the middle as Simon refuses to give Jack the necklace and demands that he get a search warrant. When Simon sees how loyal Carly is to Jack, he offers to bow out of their relationship, if it’s making her unhappy. Sage almost walks off without the diamond, although she believes it to be a “magic crystal.”

Past Blast

Days of our Lives' Bill and Susan Hayes reflect and look forward to the 50th

For Bill Hayes and Susan Seaforth Hayes (Doug and Julie) of Days of our Lives, the upcoming 50th anniversary of the show means many fond and special moments along with memories, and a walk that takes them down memory lane.

When you hear the names Bill and Susan, or their characters Doug and Julie, the first thing that pops into one's mind is "Television Royalty." They are icons and not to mention that back in 1976 they were so hot that both of them made the cover of Time Magazine. The first time daytime actors ever to appear on the cover.
