Episode #13,700 ---- Jack and Carly decide they can be civil together and figure out the kid's vacation plans over a cup of coffee. While they're in the kitchen there's a knock on the door and Carly goes to answer it. It's Janet, who's come to ask Carly to be part of a team of supporting figures for Liberty. Carly's touched and accepts, but Jack remains in the kitchen, rooted in his spot. When Janet goes, Carly asks Jack why he never came out. He tries to reason that it would've looked suspicious – except they both know it wouldn't have if they didn't feel so guilty because of their shared, secret feelings for each other. They decide they'll have to put their feelings aside. Jack returns home to Janet and promises her she has nothing to worry about when it comes to Carly.

Emily almost remembers discovering Mick's not who he says he is. But she can't quite grasp the memories and Mick's right there to encourage her to focus on having a baby. Paul's upset when he hears Emily repeating Mick's words about just wanting to work on having a child right now, since he's still worried about her health. Emily becomes upset and Paul tries to pacify her. He goes to Barbara's hotel room where Mick had just given her a treatment and a ring to remind her of his love and devotion for her. When Paul arrives, Mick leaves promising to only do whatever's in Emily's best interests. Paul accuses Barbara of having an unhealthy interest in Mick and when he sees the ring, and realizes Mick gave it to her, Paul demands to know who Mick is. Barbara tells Paul it's not her secret to tell. Meanwhile, back at Fairwinds Mick tells Emily that he'll give her a child if Paul won't.

Casey learns, much to his disappointment, that the bar might not let him become a lawyer due to his criminal past. Tom and he discuss how unfair it is. They return home, where Casey left exhausted Alison napping. Alison's not in his bed, but comes rushing in explaining that she took a walk, but felt the strong urge to only be in Casey's arms. Casey's ok with that.

Alison was actually at the Bell Tower caressing Mick's scarf.
