Episode #13,369----Emily and Dusty reconnect regarding their past history and have a near-intimate moment that is interrupted by the arrival of a family Bible bearing the Stenbeck family crest. There’s a note attached, in Swedish, which Emily wants to pursue. Dusty isn’t interested, but they discuss the history of Dusty as the true heir to the Stenbeck estate. They agree they’re happy to have each other as friends. Emily goes off to get the letter translated by Vienna, and Dusty slips out. Meanwhile, Meg is finally allowed to visit Paul in the hospital. He begs her to get him out of there. The ghost of James appears to him and tells him to act normal if he wants to get out. Paul adjusts his behavior, and Meg convinces Bob to release Paul to her care. Bob gives Paul a prescription and Meg takes Paul home but he’s rattled when Dusty shows up. Dusty is surprised to see Paul’s been released. Paul goes nuts and Meg tries to convince him they owe Dusty their gratitude, but Paul, prompted by the vision of James, is jealous of Dusty. Meanwhile Emily contacts a lawyer named in the letter in Sweden who tells her that Dusty should wait for further instructions. Emily points out to Dusty that he could be inheriting the Stenbeck fortune and to take this seriously.
Janet is working and Jack is not, and he’s restless and depressed. Janet feels sorry for him. Vienna encourages her to do something to help. Janet goes to Margo and pleads with her to give Jack his job back, confessing that she burned the evidence, not Jack. Meanwhile Jack joins Carly and Sage in picking apples and they have a cozy time. Janet, back at the farm, is not happy to see them so cozy but Carly tells her to deal with it. Jack gets a call from Margo and goes to the police station, where Margo offers him his job back. He realizes Janet manipulated this, and he tells Margo that nothing has changed about what he did. Carly comes to make amends with Janet and they’re making pies together when Jack returns. Jack tells Janet not to meddle, and later challenges Carly to ask herself why she’s so eager to push Janet and him together, and that she needs to stop meddling too.Make Soapdom's Recaps, Your Recaps, and the Best on the Net
