As the World Turns Episode Recap, Tuesday, November 18, 2008

Episode #13,399----Jack picks Sage up from school without telling Carly to try to convince her to tell the truth at the hearing. When Carly finds out, she confronts Janet, furious, and Liberty tries to defend Janet. Janet warns Jack that Carly is on the rampage. Jack and Carly have a confrontation at the school, and then Jack goes home with Carly and Sage. He tells Carly he thinks her motives are selfish and she really wants Jack and Janet to split up. He promises her a war, if that’s what she wants. Meanwhile, Janet tells Liberty she’s afraid she’ll lose Jack if she hasn’t already.

Lucinda breaks the news to Lily that she’s having a mastectomy today and that Brian has helped convince her to do that. Lily takes Lucinda to the hospital and later wonders to Holden about Brian’s sudden closeness to Lucinda. Brian tells Lily and Holden he loves Lucinda and Holden tells Lily they should be glad Lucinda has a friend. Meanwhile, Brian goes to tell Luke about Lucinda and realizes he’s been drinking. Luke denies and Brian tells him to clean up his act and go see his grandmother. Meanwhile, Noah finds out from Holden that Lucinda is having surgery. He goes to the hospital with flowers for Lucinda. Luke thinks he’s there to see Luke but Noah tells him he’s not, and goes. Luke, feeling rejected, goes to Yo’s and gets drunk. Meanwhile, Alison has been trying to help Casey find a job, and he makes a sexual move on her which she rebuffs, saying she needs his friendship. They go to Yo’s and see Luke. They get into a fight with Luke when Casey tries to take his drink away. At day’s end, Casey and Alison call Noah to say Luke is in trouble and needs him. Meanwhile, Brian sends Lily and Holden home and he sits with Lucinda, who wakes up, groggy and asks him to marry her. He accepts.
