Episode #13,443----In the middle of the wedding, Carly decides she can’t marry Craig and tells him it’s wrong to marry someone she doesn’t love. Craig is furious and storms out. Later, after consoling by Margo and Lily, he confronts Carly, telling her he believes she did it on purpose, to get a reaction from Jack and Holden. Very drunk, he goes off and Carly, worried, follows him, ultimately comforting him as he bangs on Dusty’s door and demands he hand over Johnny. Meanwhile, tensions continue between Holden and Lily regarding Holden’s concern that Carly was planning on a loveless marriage. Jack, Parker and Sage are happy Carly didn’t marry Craig.

Meanwhile, Dusty gets Meg a quick divorce in Reno and they get married, Johnny and Eliza in tow, in an attempt to counteract Craig’s marriage. When they return to Oakdale they find out from Lily and Holden that Craig didn’t get married, but feel that Dusty’s family man status will help him get permanent custody of Johnny. However, Holden is furious to learn that Meg has been embroiled in a sham marriage with Dusty.

Greg Vaughan dedicated to being a man of the cloth

Greg Vaughan enjoys playing the holier than thou role of Father Eric Brady on Days of our Lives and says the character suits him just fine.

"You know, it really does. I'm enjoying this role" Vaughan said. "And I am a religious person. After all...I come from the bible belt of the country (Texas)."

The character of Eric was last seen on Days of our Lives about a 12 years ago, then played by Jensen Eckles (who now stars as FBI agent Dean Winchester on the CW's Supernatural). When the character left Salem, he was quite the "playboy." So who would of thought he'd return as a man of the cloth?
