She congratulates Meg on Paul’s reform and leaves to go visit Daniel. Paul takes Meg to Al’s where he tells her that Emily wasn’t being entirely accurate. He admits that he did assist Emily in a ploy to get rid of Josie, but it backfired and he’s ashamed he didn’t tell Meg about it sooner. Meg forgives him. Later, Dusty and Josie return from Tampa and run into Meg and Paul. Josie senses Dusty’s close relationship with Meg and wonders if there’s anything to it. Dusty admits that Paul’s jealous over his and Meg’s relationship as well, but he assures Josie there’s nothing to it. Later, Josie prepares an anti-Thanksgiving meal for Dusty when an angry Paul shows up and demands that Josie answer his calls. He tells her she must continue to fake her connection to Jennifer but Josie says she can’t do it anymore.

Margo reluctantly agrees, but everything explodes when Casey admits he can never go back to Oakdale U. Everyone yells at him, so he goes outside too cool down. Tom yells at Emily and she goes outside to sympathize with Casey, but winds up kissing him. Casey rejects Emily, who opts out of the meal.
