Paul sees a picture of Meg and Dusty sent to his computer and calls Jack to give him the news. Jack reminds him Dusty is dead but Paul insists he come and see for himself. But when Jack comes to look at the computer, the picture is gone. Paul swears he saw it and insists on going to the police station to see Dusty’s coroner’s report. At the station, Paul loses control again and Dallas threatens to arrest him. Jack calls Barbara and they take Paul to the hospital instead. The doctor gives Paul a sedative and tells Barbara to go home. Later, Paul has dreams of Meg and Dusty, then forces himself awake and sneaks out. At Fairwinds, he hears thumping and goes to the wine cellar where he finds imprisoned Derek. Derek says James told him where Meg is and he’ll take Paul to her. Paul gets the name of the place then leaves Derek imprisoned and goes after Meg himself. Meanwhile, Meg has pains trying to get into a boat she found and tells Dusty she’s pregnant. She tells him to leave and save himself but he refuses. He takes her back to the cottage and lets her rest. Then he insists they must get out and find some place to hide before James returns.
Brad tries to give Jack a check for $20,000 to make up for Jack losing his job covering for him, but Jack tears it up. Katie calls Brad clueless and doesn’t deny when he accuses her of not respecting him. Brad goes off in a huff and when Mike comes to tell Katie he is leaving town for a while, all Katie wants to do is go out on the town with him. Katie tells Mike she doesn’t want to think, she just wants to have fun, and he takes her to Chicago. Katie decides not to call Brad while she and Mike get drunk. Meanwhile, Brad talks to Janet and realizes he hasn’t been acting like a man. He goes to Jack and tells him he’s going to turn himself in and admit he threw Leo in the water, even though he knows it won’t change Jack’s situation. He wants to do it because it’s the right thing to do and Jack tells Brad that Katie would be proud.
