Episode #13,309----Liberty tells Katie and Brad why Parker is ignoring her and Brad freaks out, hearing the news that Jack and Janet are an item. Brad finds them and argues with Jack over the supposed detrimental effect Jack and Janet’s relationship is having over the family. At home, Brad and Katie decide that Janet needs to leave town and go to tell her they won’t pay for her Lakeview room anymore. Janet calls Jack tearfully looking for Liberty and when he finds out what Brad and Katie have done, he invites her to live at Snyder Farm. Liberty, meanwhile, convinces Parker they can’t let their parents stand in their way.

Carly is preparing herself to go to dinner with Neal at Lily’s house when Holden turns up demanding that she cancel. Carly refuses, insisting that dating Neal will help the both of them move on. At Lily’s, Neal is attentive and charming and Holden lets his jealousy get the best of him. Holden makes everyone uncomfortable by insulting Neal’s polo hobbies. Carly and Neal leave while Holden explains to Lily his outburst was stress induced. Lily demands that Holden find Neal and apologize. Meanwhile, Neal suggests that Holden was acting jealous but Carly explains that Oakdale is a small town and everyone is involved in everyone else’s business. Neal then offers Carly an escape in the form of a two-week trip to Paris with him. Holden enters to apologize and is disheartened to learn of the trip to Paris.

Days of our Lives' Brendan Michael Coughlin enjoys playing Tad and being a new dad

When asked what it is like to play Tad on Days of our Lives, Brendan Michael Coughlin shouts exuberantly, "I love him!"

Coughlin has been playing the so-called behind the scenes instigator for the last two years. He has no family that is ever mentioned on the show, but he is there. He came on as Will's (Guy Wilson) best friend, but when it became clear that Will was gay, Tad did everything but bash and degrade and mock him. The irony? At the recent wedding of Will and Sonny (Freddie Smith), he was best man. Go figure!

"I know. It has been a wild ride. I did a whole turn around, and I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed doing the wedding. I really enjoy playing this guy. He is a total goof-off. He means well, but is always on the wrong side of the rope." Coughlin said. "I have grown to love him. He is comic relief. I always had dramatic roles, so this is fun."
