Episode #13,700 ---- Jack and Carly decide they can be civil together and figure out the kid's vacation plans over a cup of coffee. While they're in the kitchen there's a knock on the door and Carly goes to answer it. It's Janet, who's come to ask Carly to be part of a team of supporting figures for Liberty. Carly's touched and accepts, but Jack remains in the kitchen, rooted in his spot. When Janet goes, Carly asks Jack why he never came out. He tries to reason that it would've looked suspicious – except they both know it wouldn't have if they didn't feel so guilty because of their shared, secret feelings for each other.
