As reported in Soapdom's As the World Turns Casting Call, Lynn Herring (ex Lucy, General Hospital and Port Charles) is heading to Oakdale in the role of Audrey, Trent's rather greedy, needy(?) mom.
The show is wasting no time in getting exposure for their new star. Herring rang the opening bell today at the New York Stock Exchange. Soapdom can't help but find this very interesting, especially as we made reference to the Gordon Gecko character in the movie Wall Street whose famous quote was "greed is good" when we announced that Herring was heading to Oakdale with greed as her MO.
